Since lockdown started and our favourite restaurants shut, some of us turned our hand to cooking and recreating our own delicious recipes.

Aldi’s best-selling range now has even more options available – with three contemporary colours; black, greige and a brand-new teal. The items are also oven safe up to 250 degrees and is suitable for all hobs, including induction.
Designed with an easy to clean enamel coating on both the interior and exterior, shoppers can be confident that the clean-up job will be quick and easy. That’s music to our ears after a long day working from home, or in the office.
For dishes big enough to feed your whole household or the next dinner party, why not opt for the 30cm Cast Iron Shallow Casserole Dish, priced at just £29.99 – and a snip in price compared to Staub’s £199 sauté pan or the Le Creuset Shallow Casserole Dish for a whopping £240.
If you can resist a traditional roast on a Sunday or need new cookware for Christmas, then you’ll love the 26cm Oval Cast Iron Casserole Dish, which is a bargain at £24.99. Staub’s Cocotte costs £229 and Le Creuset 24cm Casserole Dish is £240 – meaning Aldi’s is just over £215 cheaper

We love the Cast Iron Roaster, £24.99, as it’s ideal for taking tasty grub from the oven straight to the dining table. Staub’s Roasting pan will cost you £119 and the Le Creuset Roaster? £180 – that’s a massive saving for Aldi customers.
While the Cast Iron Griddle Tray (£14.99) is available in square or rectangle and will add those signature sear marks to meat, fish and vegetables and lock in flavour while helping any additional fat to drain away.
